First off, a multitude of special guests have confirmed that they will be coming to Section Conclave. Check out the list by visiting our “Special Guests” page on the Section Conclave website. Second, we have partnered up with Life Flight so we can expect a helicopter display during Founder’s Fair. Arrowmen will be able to explore a life saving tool and also experience a landing and takeoff demonstration. Lastly, the Buckeye Trails Association will be coming to Conclave to give arrowmen the opportunity on Saturday morning to learn how to construct trails and maintain them. So, if you are looking to jump start your own trail crew like program at your council camp, this is a great opportunity to learn how to do it properly. We will have more announcements being posted as we get closer to Conclave. We will see you at Section Conclave!

Extreme Pyrotechnics LLC© based out of Texas will be putting on the show which has been given the name of “Thunder Over Conclave”. Music, video, lighting, and fireworks will make sure that this Conclave will go down in history as being one of the loudest. Arrowmen will receive a special code 72 hours before conclave so they have plenty of time to download the guide. The guide will include vital event information, schedule, map, updates & alerts, and other specialized features. Just one more way we are making the 2012 Section Conclave more creative than ever.

Participants will be able to meet and greet the arrowman overseeing the Order of the Arrow in 13 states. Marty will also be judging spirit competitions, teach our time management training, and serve as a guest judge at our arrowmen idol founder’s fair show. Be sure to attend the 2012 Section Conclave to meet this amazing leader.

Once arrowmen have registered for Section Conclave they can download an app from the Apple app store on to their iPhone© to access their ticket(s) and event information. Arrowmen will be able to pull up their ticket(s) to be scanned during check-in at Conclave. This will cut down on paper use while helping the environment. Go green and feel good about it! This year’s Section Conclave is looking to fetch at least 310 with hopes of 400 arrowmen from Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
